Directory history
- While browsing on disk FJ and JC stores all directories in sequential order
- If you like to change to a folder press , in FJ to select from list
Source code metrics
- While measuring FJ and JC are storing results also in comma seperated file on drive C:\. The name is _fjmetr.txt. You see a line per file. First number
is the LOC and second the statement counter for the file.
Searching
- Searching multiple files
- Combine in the search mask several divided by | e.g.”Search:
*.exe|*.html”
- Search everything but not *.exe
- Exclude this mask with < e.g. “Search : <*.exe”
- Directory search
- In the filesearch dialogbox active the Directory entry and you will also find directories
UNC path usage
- You may change to a path in the filelist by entering G for Goto, enter then for example the UNC path e.g. \\computer\sharename. The program will show you the path in the caption bar of the window
- You may also copy files to an UNC path if you enter the UNC path to the destination
- All normal functions should work on UNC paths if you have the rights to do this
Command history
- You may choose with CTRL-UP in a editfield the command history to select strings entered before
Display modes
- Change the videomode when running in window to 126*50, then the font for the window in the windows system menu to Lucia Console 14 to have maximum
information on the screen
- If you are familar with the commands switch off the command window (SetUp->Window)
Running under Windows in a window
- To be able to work with the mouse under windows, you should disable the QuickEdit mode for the task
- Open the property window of the icon, change to the option-tab and disable the QuickEdit mode checkbox
